This “London in Orange” mural printed on a mug depicts one of the most striking and historic cities in the world. We are on the banks of the Thames and look at the venerable Big Ben. There is hardly a landmark that is as well-known worldwide as this clock tower, at the northern end of the Palace of Westminster. We see the motif through a splash of color and the edges of the artwork are white. The actual buildings of London are mainly shown in orange, only a bright blue adorns the top part of Big Ben and draws our eyes straight there. On the right side of the picture we see Westminster Bridge and Portcullis House and they stand out from the rest of the picture due to their different colors. The viewer essentially receives a small city tour of London, starting with Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster, across the bridge to the busy streets of London.
